Out & About Program
Out & About Peninsula provides a door-through-door van shuttle and volunteer driver service for Peninsula Community Senior Center Members. Seniors 65 years and older living in the 92106, 92107, and select parts of 92110 zip codes are eligible.

Out & About is a two-pronged service, offering two different types of transportation included within a single membership. Annual fee of $85 per member.
Peninsula Community Senior Center volunteers provide safe, individual transportation to non-emergency medical appointments and necessary errands. Volunteers are screened through PCSC and use their own vehicles. No payment per trip is required. Distance is limited to a 25-mile radius from 92107 . Requests may be made for any day of the week between any time frame member needs. Speak to our Program Coordinator to learn more. (619) 223 - 1640

PCSC Van Shuttle member to varying locations Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 1:00pm. Our staffed van drivers are dedicated to providing reliable, safe transportation. These Drivers work directly off of request made through the Program Coordinator, as well as a Transportation Calendar located in every monthly mailing of our newsletter. Distance is limited to a 6-mile radius, and requests are guaranteed. A $5 fee will be collected per round trip to help us maintain our vehicles and support our fabulous Van Drivers.
