Peninsula Community Senior Center is the hub for seniors in Point Loma! As the only independent Senior Center on the Peninsula, we provide a place for social activities, clubs, classes, and just a place to connect with others. PCSC creates a Newsletter; Peninsula Community Compass, that informs seniors where they can attend other social and educational events in the community. In addition, we provide transportation to grocery stores, errands, medical appointments and Sunday church services.

Out & About Transportation

Out & About Peninsula provides a door-through-door van shuttle and volunteer driver service for Peninsula Center members. Seniors 65 years and older living in the 92106, 92107, and select parts of 92110 zip codes are eligible.

Enriching Social Programs

Our goal at Peninsula Senior Community Center is to provide independence, socialization, education, and service opportunities for all older adults in our community. PSCS is the only independent senior lounge in the Point Loma/Ocean Beach community.

Community Engagements

Aside from our events in the lounge, we take it outside to explore more of what San Diego has to offer! Trips such as the Wild Animal Park, Viejas Casino and more! Our outings, or excursions, are a fun way to have a change in environment and get some fresh air.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers set their own schedules and can view volunteer opportunities on a computer software program called Ride Scheduler. This safe and reliable transportation enables older adults to attend medical appointments, shopping needs, social visits, and more!
