​Mary Brown Vice President Mary joined the PCSC Board in 2024 and is a retired U.S. Navy Captain, Naval Intelligence. She served as Head Counsel, Navy Region Southwest in the Navy Office of the General Counsel. She is a cCurrent Rotary San Diego Club 33 Member and Paul Harris Fellow. Mary is also current Outreach Commission Lead for All Souls' Episcopal Church and a former Board Member, Episcopal Community Services, San Diego. Mary has also been the Chair of the All Souls’ Episcopal Church Annual Christmas Marketplace for the past four years. Mary lives in San Diego with her husband, Dave and has four daughters and 13 grandchildren.

Shannon has been a resident of San Diego for 35 years. After graduating from San Diego State University with her Bachelors, Shannon started her own Interior Design business. She is also a faithful member and board member of  Point Loma Rotary Club for 10 years as well as consistently volunteers at Birthline for over 9 years; a local organization dedicated to providing basic needs for families and pregnant women in crisis. Alongside her longstanding philanthropy, Shannon has helped to instate Skate Park at Ocean Beach, as well as volunteers with Byron Wear's Campaign for City Council. 

Being the secretary of Peninsula Community Senior Center is an honor for me.  I have respect for the work done by the Center.  Being a member of All Souls' Episcopal Church for 17 years, I was able to recognize the work the organization has done. I am involved with serving the lunches  for the Lunch Bunch every month and enjoy meeting the seniors. I was born and grew up in Pennsylvania. I attended college there and after graduation, I moved to San Diego. I taught every grade from kindergarten to high school.  My last assignment was as a school counselor.

Receiving his Architectural Degree from Syracuse University in 1985, Scott joinedthe Design Team at The Golden Nugget/ Mirage Corporation. He worked onProjects including The Golden Nugget, The Mirage, and Treasure Island. In 1994he joined his former boss Joel Bergman in creating Bergman Walls and Associates.Scott’s primary client was Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas where he oversaw the MasterPlanning and most major projects. He also worked on other Casino Projects inDetroit, Pittsburgh and Atlantic City. In 2010 as President of Bergman Walls andAssoc., Scott announced his retirement. His Company remains a prominentArchitectural Firm in the Casino Industry to this day. Scott now donates his timegiving back to the community. He served 6 years on the Board of Directors forMama’s Kitchen and was President of the Board in 2022. He is also an activemember at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and has served on their Church Council.Through St. Peter’s, he has taken an active role for the Homeless Populationsthrough several programs providing meals, housing and good hygiene. Scott andhis Partner Greg of 24 years reside on Sunset Cliffs.

Rosemary is a native of Seattle, WA and attended the University of Washington School of Nursing. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honorary. As a Registered Nurse, Rosemary specialized in pulmonary diseases and is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She completed a Masters in Health Administration through Webster University and moved to San Diego to join Sharp Memorial Hospital as a Pulmonary Nurse. During her 19 years at Sharp, Rosemary worked in leadership and management positions and program development. Rosemary is a volunteer teachers assistant at Bay Park Elementary, a member of the Board of Trustees of Meals on Wheels, San Diego County and studies French. Rosemary and her husband Steve, recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. She is also an active member of All Souls' Episcopal Church.

I have been a part of PCSC for more than thirty years as an employee, a
Board member, a volunteer and now as a participant. I served as Executive
Director from 1992 until my retirement in 2010. I went to work parttime at
the Ryan Family YMCA to develop a senior adult program at the Y. I
returned to PCSC as a part time Activities Coordinator in 2015 to start and
coordinate the monthly Lunch Bunch program and to help in the office.  I
retired again in 2018 at which time I joined the PCSC Board of Directors as
an Ambassador at Large. In addition to my volunteer duties at PCSC, my
husband Bob and I help and participate in a variety of senior programs and
activities through the Peninsula community. We have three adult children and three grandchildren. It has been my joy and pleasure to be involved with PCSC for all these years.
